Great grandparents

Let's keep going with husband/wife pictures (I don't know if they are wedding pictures, per se)

I am referring them as great grandparents to you, but it does depend on which generation you are, obviously.

Above is a picture of Tobias' parents: Nils Pettersen Tufteland Berge and his wife Torborg Jensdatter Rolleivstad. Nils was born in 1833 in Tufteland, Søgne, Norway and died in Berge, Søgne, Norway in 1914. Torbog was born 1864 and died August 1947, also in Norway.

Torborg was Nils' third wife. He was widowed twice prior to his marriage to Torborg. Nils was 31 years older then Torborg. They had 4 children.

This is a picture of Anna Nodeland's parents, Bernt Olson Eidså Nodeland and Ingeborg Olsdatter Fidje. Bernt was born July 7, 1856 in Kristiansand, Norway and died July 1908 in Hagen, Saskatchewan, Canada. He immigrated to the United States and then on to Saskatchewan, Canada. Ingeborg was born Dec 14, 1856 in Greipstad, Norway and died August 30, 1943 in Hagen, Saskatchewan, Canada. They had 5 children and Ingeborg was widowed a year after the family homesteaded in Canada. She continued to keep the homestead and farm and even purchased more land. She was a remarkable woman.
